Alex McLin is Director of the Gymnastics Ethics Foundation. He is the former CEO and Secretary General of the FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale), and previously held roles as general counsel for sports bodies and technology businesses. He counsels international sports federations on governance matters and is a member of the Governance Task Force of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF). He is an active arbitrator, including at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and was the first Executive Director of ASA, the Swiss Arbitration Association. He has worked for the World Economic Forum and practiced law in New York. He is a dual Swiss-USA national who grew up mostly in Switzerland, and studied economics (Haverford) and law (Duke), in the USA.
