Born 1959 in Galveston, Texas, USA.

Medical school and specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy in Berne, Switzerland.

Training in Bioenergetic Analysis (Alexander Lowen, Wilhelm Reich), with the Swiss association for Bioenergetic Analysis and Therapy SGBAT and at the International Institute for Bioenergetic Analysis IIBA, New York.

Supervisor and trainer in Switzerland and Germany.

Continuous and close cooperation with the founder of Bioenergetics Analysis, Dr. Alexander Lowen, in New York.

1994 establishing of own medical and psychotherapeutic practice in Berne, Switzerland, with emphasis on body oriented psychotherapy.

1999 - 2008 attending physician, Co-leader of an inpatient Psychosomatic and Psychotherapeutic Department and Member of the Executive Board at the Private Hospital Lindenhof in Berne.

Organization and execution of numerous body orientated workshops and seminars, as well as two international scientific congresses on “emotion and health” as member of the Executive Board and leader of the scientific commission of the Swiss Association for Psychosomatic Medicine.

Since 2005 focusing on individual coaching, short-term crisis intervention and Burnout prevention as well as applying energetic, neurobiological and synergetic principles on individual Management Coaching, Leadership Development, strategic HRM and the implementation of new management models.

Since 2009 Member of the Beyond Budgeting Round Table (bbrt.org), an international network of companies developing and implementing new management models beyond the classical Command and Control models.

Since 2010 close exchange with Prof. G. Kohlrieser, leader of the High Performance Leadership Program at IMD, Switzerland.

Since 2011 active member of MIX - Management Innovation eXchange, an international network led by Dr. Gary Hamel, London Business School.

Since 2012, together with Robin Fraser (Co-author of the book Beyond Budgeting, HBR 2002 and Co-Founder of the Beyond Budgeting Round Table, bbrt.org),
developing the theoretical and practical basis for a radically new, comprehensive management model based on the principles of living systems.

Since 2014 as an 'expert' together with oikos international a international network of management students under the lead of Julia Weber, HSG St. Gallen. Eelaborating the principles of a radical new understanding of management education and launching an 'open letter' internationally together with the Global Responsible Leadership Initiative GRLI and the UN Initiative 50+20.
