Björn Hessert, LL.M., RA (Deutschland), studierte an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg/Deutschland sowie an der University of Melbourne/Australien. Nach der Zulassung als Rechtsanwalt arbeitete er als wissenschaftlicher Assistent am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Ulrich Haas. Während dieser Zeit promovierte Björn zu dem Thema «Sports Investigations Law and the ECHR – Collection, Use and Exchange of Intelligence» und war als Visiting Professor an der Tashkent State University of Law in Tashkent/Usbekistan tätig. Seit 2021 arbeitet Björn als Counsel am Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne.
