Curriculum

Dr. Pablo Sanz Bayón (LL.B., LL.M., PhD in Law) joined the Law School of Comillas Pontifical University (Madrid, Spain) in September 2015 as Lecturer in Commercial Law. Until that time he was Research Assistant and PhD candidate since September 2011. Pablo has spent significant research time at the Law School of the University of Cambridge, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg), China-EU School of Law at the China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing), and Centre for Corporate Law and Securities Regulation (University of Melbourne). Recently, he has been Guest Lecturer at Kozminski University (Poland) and UIBE (China), teaching Corporate Law. His research interests are in the field of law and economics, especially regarding corporate and company law, on which he completed his PhD (2016). Currently, he is participating in research projects on Fintech and regulation of digital technologies. In this field, Pablo was speaker at 2017 Legal Scholars Roundtable: «How Law Operates in the Wired Society», organized by the Korean Legislation Research Institute (Seoul, September 2017).
