Attorney, LL.M.
Amalia Athanasiadou is a qualified lawyer admitted to the Greek bar and a PhD researcher in the field of Competition Law and Intellectual Property Law. As from 2012, she is a research and teaching assistant for the Chair of European Law and Competition Law held by Prof. Evelyne Clerc, at the Law Faculty of Neuchatel University. She is also the coach of the European Law Moot Court Competition (ELMC) team of Neuchatel University.
Amalia obtained her LL.M. on Corporate and Commercial Law from Maastricht University (Netherlands) in 2012, while she received her Bachelor in Laws from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) in 2010. Before starting her PhD thesis, she worked as a researcher for Maastricht University on research projects for the European Commission. Her doctoral research concerns patent settlements in the pharmaceutical sector, under US Antitrust and EU Competition Law.
