Prof. Dr.
Olivier Hari is a professor of law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Neuchâtel where he holds the Chair for Company Law. He is Of Counsel in Schellenberg Wittmer's Corporate and Commercial and Restructuring and Insolvency groups in Geneva.
His main areas of practice include company law (including securities law, corporate insolvency and restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions) and banking and financial markets law.
Olivier Hari graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Neuchâtel (J.D. magna cum laude in 2003, Ph. D. in Law magna cum laude in 2010) and was admitted to the Bar in Switzerland in 2007.
Olivier Hari has authored and edited several publications in the fields of commercial law, insolvency law and banking law and regularly serves as a speaker at national and international congresses. He is member of several practitioners' association (INSOL Europe, AIJA) and serves as Vice-President of the AIJA Insolvency Commission and as President of the Commission for Continuing Education of the Geneva Bar Association.
